2010 FIFA world cup is the 19th International Football Tournament; it is scheduled from June 11th till 11th July 2010 in South Africa. This is the first time in history that this international football event is being hosted by an African country. Football lovers go crazy when the FIFA World Cup season is on and come to watch it from different parts of the world.
The first FIFA Football Tournament begun in the year 1930 in Uruguayan capital of Montevideo.Four years from now the eyes of the world with be on South Africa where the World Cup will be played on African soil for the first time. In 2005, the organisers released a provisional list of thirteen venues to be used for the World Cup: Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg (two venues), Kimberley, Nelspruit, Orkney, Polokwane/Pietersburg, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria (two venues), and Rustenburg. This was narrowed down to ten venues which were officially announced by FIFA on 17 March 2006
